Angela Jean is Artfully Sew
I am a home-grown Wisconsinite who enjoy raising our three children in the country. I have always loved to create things and started quilting about 15 years ago. Traditional quilting, stitching square after square together, got old for me very quickly. Then a good friend gave me a box full of hand dyed material, some Quilting Arts Magazines and I was hooked! Creating art quilts, wall-hangings and framed fiber art has become my trademark.
Recycle, Upcycle, Repurpose
Recently I've ventured out and began making clothing and aprons from old fabrics, linens and laces. I love taking something old and discarded and creating something new and fresh. One of my favorite projects is helping customers turn treasured clothing from loved ones into aprons, pillows or quilts. I find great joy in looking at Grandpa’s shirt, or Mom’s Christmas tablecloth and visualizing what it can become. It’s a great way to get those treasures out of storage and into your décor to enjoy and remember everyday.
